In April 2013, we were really pleased to have been awarded funding from the Arts Council Grants for the Arts scheme for our new project Water Folk.  We have been commissioned by Floating Cinema to engage three community groups in a participatory project called Water Folk, which will result in a film about the minute creatures who dwell in the waterways of East London. It is very exciting for us to be working with the amazing UP Projects, but also Cambridge University scientist, Professor Malcolm Burrows and sound artist Tim Olden.  The three groups are Gayhurst Community School, The Sharp End and Ray’s Geezers.  You can follow the projects progress here on our blog.
